What we can turn into a 3D map
Every card below is a live demo built from a different kind of file. Each one names the file we started with, what the platform did with it, and — most importantly — how far the result can be trusted.
How to read the trust labels
- Survey-accurateExact. It came from an official survey file.
- Read by AI, awaiting confirmationAI read it from a picture. A person still has to confirm it.
- The developer’s own 3D model, so the shape is exact.
- PrototypeA demonstration. The figures in it are samples, not real records.
.shp.gdb.dxf.gpkgOfficial survey and mapping files
What we were given: A survey file holding 412 real buildings in Dubai Marina — the same kind of file Dubai’s authorities said they will send us.
What the platform did: It opened the file and put all 412 buildings on the map by itself — right place, right shape, right height. Nobody drew or moved anything by hand.
Survey-accurateEverything is exactly as the survey file supplied it. This is the only route where a project can be marked verified.
Open the Marina import →.pdfDeveloper sales brochures
What we were given: 15 Emaar sales brochures for The Valley. Every site plan in them is a flat picture — you cannot select the text, so an ordinary computer cannot read the plot numbers off it.
What the platform did: An AI looked at the pictures the way a person would and listed 5,975 plots across 15 neighbourhoods. Three neighbourhoods were matched onto the master plan automatically; the rest were lined up by eye.
Read by AI, awaiting confirmationGood enough to walk someone around a community. Not good enough to quote a plot boundary from. Every project stays marked unverified until a person checks it.
Open The Valley →.glb.gltfA developer’s own 3D model
What we were given: A finished 3D model of the Venera show villas, built by the developer’s own design team. It arrived as a 2.94 GB file — far too heavy to open in a web browser.
What the platform did: We shrank it to 34.7 MB — 91 times smaller, with no visible difference — and split it up so every villa can be clicked on its own.
Open the Venera show villa →.pdfOSMThe Co-Broker Twin
What we were given: The same brochures, plus free public map data of Dubai from OpenStreetMap.
What the platform did: A working model of the whole city down to individual units, with sale records, listings, a reference library and a basic CRM.
PrototypeA prototype. The prices and sales in it are sample figures made up to show how it works — they are not Land Department records.
Open the Twin →.jpg.webp.pdfMaster plans as pictures
What we were given: Emaar and Dubai Hills master plans as images, plus the Eden and Nara brochures.
What the platform did: Traced four communities — Arabian Ranches III, Dubai Hills Estate, Villanova and The Valley — into one 3D map of Dubai, 19,331 homes you can click. Nara’s 372 plot numbers were read straight out of the brochure’s text layer; everything else was traced by hand from the plans.
PrototypeA prototype. Every price, sale and listing in it is invented to show how the app would work, and the shapes are traced from pictures, not surveyed.
Open Atlas →Every format we read
If a format is not on this list, we cannot read it yet. “Convert first” means the file needs one free conversion step before we can.
| Format | File | Support | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shapefile | .shp | Supported | The standard survey format. Building or plot outlines with their details attached. We convert its coordinate system automatically. |
| File Geodatabase | .gdb | Supported | Esri’s database format. We read it directly — no Esri software or licence needed. |
| GeoPackage | .gpkg | Supported | The modern open replacement for the shapefile. |
| GeoJSON | .geojson | Supported | A simple open format, usually already in world coordinates. |
| AutoCAD drawing | .dxf | Supported | Closed shapes become plots. CAD files carry no location on Earth, so a person positions it on the map. |
| AutoCAD drawing | .dwg | Convert first | Save it as DXF from any CAD program, or use the free ODA File Converter. Then we read it. |
| Plan with real text | .pdf | Supported | The unit numbers are selectable text, so we read them exactly. No AI involved. |
| Plan that is a picture | .pdf | Needs confirmation | The unit numbers are part of an image. AI proposes the layout and a person confirms it before anything is saved. |
| 3D model | .glb / .gltf | Supported | Uploaded in the admin area and checked against the delivery spec in Appendix A of the agreement. |
